hey Adrienne, thanks for sharing this new program.sounds great. Got another one I am working through right now, but it really does look like a great course.
One thing that I realized not that long ago was to quit focusing on building blogs and start focusing on building my business. Since doing that, and implementing a new business plan that is currently in the process of transforming my entire business, I have already seen a massive change in how my blogs are doing, and in my own productivity.
Best advice I can share for anyone is plan your business, and don’t fall into the trap of thinking your blog is your business. your blog is just a marketing tool for your business, its not the whole enchilada.

Yeah, it hasn’t even launched yet Paul and I believe I mentioned in my post that it’s less than two weeks away. I’m not a very patient person but I will be for this. I’m excited and can’t wait to get my hands on this baby.
I thought about doing my own product but in all honesty Paul, there are a lot of course out there about blogging. I actually had a conversation with my mentor about this and he said it best. There is nothing that I can offer that isn’t already out there so why waste my time! There are too many fabulous courses on the market already about blogging and I really have nothing new to add. Ray Hidgon is definitely the man when it comes to Blogging and Network Marketing. I’m sure his Pro Blogging Academy will be quite valuable.
I didn’t pay much attention to my Alexa ranking until someone suggested I install the toolbar on my web browser, last month. I think my initial ranking was around 650,000. Today it stands at 460,000. Like you, I’m not one to live by the numbers, but it’s good to be aware of them also.
I started my blog almost 8 months ago. I like how it has evolved so far and am looking forward to future growth.

I agree Jamella, when it comes to blogging success we can all just hope to be on his level some day. I mean not only is his blog crushing it but he’s signing people up in his business everyday from what he’s sharing on his blog. Isn’t that what we all are striving for? For our content and brand to be so popular there that everyone wants to work with us? I know I do.
The rankings are important but I wouldn’t obsess over them everyday. I know a lot of people don’t pay a lot of attention to them but it’s great when you start to see them drop. The lower the better with Alexa. Happy to see yours moving in that direction. Yey!!!

I’m usually not on Facebook on the weekends. I may glance through it and I do wish everyone a Happy Birthday but that’s about it for the weekends. I will comment some but I prefer sharing their posts when I know my followers are online and I’m usually not online when they are so I just will wait to comment and share once Monday rolls around.
Yeah, Barry and I have been communicating a little big. He’s been bed ridden for weeks now. His wife won’t let him up until he’s back 100%. He’s hoping that will be soon so I told him to just get well. His health is much more important then his blog even though we do miss him.
Ah, you have a lake to walk around. That’s cool, my walks are rather boring. I try to take a different route each day but they still get old. I’ve been walking them for years now. Yours sounds great. You should take some photos.

Appreciate you sharing the details of the course, Adrienne. I would love to spend money on the course, but I don’t want to (It’s just that I don’t make much money out of blogging, and the money I do make is saved for hosting fees).
I think the best way to go with business is to experiment yourself. Sure, others will be able to provide us a lot of tips. But, none of that will be able to compete with the experience and knowledge we gain through experiments.

You’re the second person and I’m really surprised. Just Google his name and you’ll see what I’m talking about. He really does know his stuff, trust me. Those numbers don’t lie and neither does his bank account. We can all aspire to be at his level.
I can appreciate what you’re saying Jeevan but the people who are online to build a business and make money have to invest in their education if they want to get to a certain level. I know you’re on a tight budget but we all have to decide for ourselves what’s the most important thing that can help us now. I certainly don’t believe in running out and buying every single course that comes out. Not at all. I believe that if something is available that will help you move forward in the direction you’re headed right now then you should invest in it. If not then by all means don’t.
Experience is great but if you want to be at a certain level then you need to learn from someone who is where you want to be. I definitely am.

I haven’t been through the course since it hasn’t launched yet but I would think that you would need to already have your niche in place. Ray is in network marketing so that’s his area of expertise. This course is about blogging which includes writing content, getting yourself out there in front of your target audience and what makes people want to buy from you ya know.
He will have a question and answer webinar though so I’m sure if people have problems in that area he could address them at that time.

You hit it out of the ball park once again by introducing us to Ray. Just checked him out and now I know why YOU are such a successful blogger. lol!
But you do have your own twist and that is what makes you Rock my friend. You have mastered all of the points above.
To me, the most important point is Module 4 – Converting your traffic. Here is here I notice so may people get “stuck” and this looks like the answer to many people’s problems. We all work hard out here, but conversion rates are the goal which we want to achieve.
It doesn’t matter what kind of business you are in, but through these modalities, this certainly looks like a win-win situation.

But yes, just as you were telling others, I did Google his name and saw his wonderful blog as well. I think I would give things a proper read to understand more about them, as I am not really into making money through any kind of business, being a freelance writer, though making money is the main aim with which people come online – this way or that.
Moreover, if this recommendation comes from you, it’s taken for granted that it’s trustworthy and something that you can close your eyes and follow.

Will also be doing a blog post about this week – there are some bloggers whom I respect and there are some whom I admire for their traffic – and then there are bloggers like Ray! I agree, there are people online who say they know their stuff and then there are those who do. I really admire Ray for everything he’s accomplished in his life and we can all learn valuable lessons from what he’s been able to do. Hey Adrienne,
Does Ray explain how to do everything when you’re a one-man show? I find it exhausting to keep up with my blogs and create products too. The first promotes my businesses, and the second is my business.
As far as you creating your own blogging product, I think you should. It doesn’t have to be the last word on blogging, make it something simpler like a group of case studies you’ve done (or will do). Your readers are definitely interested in YOU and we all love case studies!

Ray is a one man show so I hope that helped answer your question. Of course, this is a course on blogging so I doubt he’ll be going into “doing it all”. I’m sure that would be a very extensive course going into how to handle everything you know. Let’s face it Peggy, blogging is huge and people would love to actually profit from their efforts since we all love it so much. He’s going to show you how to do just that.
Ah thanks, I appreciate the vote of confidence too. I haven’t given it much thought since I really wasn’t contemplating creating my own product. I think I might wait and see how great Ray’s course is and then possibly just continue to promote it. I’m considering doing bonuses of consulting with me. Heck, I don’t know but thanks for that Peggy.

I was just thinking of you and Ray’s course and then I saw your post! Ray’s course sounds great. He is such an wonderful role model with his blog. To have been top of the top 50 MLM blogs shows his commitment.
Well then again he is a role model in everything he does really. As you say he is everywhere.
When Numis was coming to Australia I jumped at the chance to be on his team. I knew joining Terry meant I would be on Ray’s team as well.

I definitely know Ray Higdon, Adrienne. I stumbled across him online a while ago and have been following him ever since. One of the things I like about him is that he is energetic and positive so he’s always a good person to be around. And you can’t argue with his success. I’m sure a lot of people are waiting impatiently for that 2 weeks to pass! Sounds like a great program.

But it was an awesome course, and I believe that especially people new to blogging should join a blogging course to learn from people who are successful, and Pro Blogging Academy sounds like a really good one.

Great article.. In fact all your articles are great.. You have really grown as a blogger since I have been reading your stuff. You certainly know your stuff…
Isn’t it amazing how a little elbow grease can go along way. I think the biggest obstacle people have to get over is their own complacency.
I did lots of “seo” blog 101 stuff. I did okay i got some traffic..
I get lots of traffic now to all my blogs but I did it by changing my focus..
I started telling better stories, to often I see people talk about things when you can tell from their writing they really have no idea what they are talking about. This is very true in the home business niche.. I believe you should talk about things you are already an expert on, it could be anything.. but at least if you know what you are talking about it will come thru in your writing..
So to me the most important thing to do before working about seo and such is to tell entertaining and informative stories that other people can relate to. This will bring people back to wanting more..

It is important to care about your success as a blogger, but it is also important not to be in it just for the hope of money. Bloggers need to care about the quality of the work they are putting out there. We need to consider what we are saying and seek the needs of our readership. I agree to an extent but you can have it all. You can offer great content that will help others all while they are finding you more an more attractive and want to join you in your business. A blog to me is a marketing tool and a way for me to connect with others. There is no reason why you can’t have it all. That’s exactly what Ray has accomplished and can now show others how to do the exact same thing.

I must be another one who has been under a rock because the name doesn’t sound familiar to me, either. This course sounds great, though, but like my brother, James, I’m in the middle of going through another course.
Whatever anyone decides to do, whether this course or another, remember to take action! My biggest failure over the last few years has been a failure to take action. Without action, you won’t be able to get where you are going. Even if the action you are taking is the wrong action, you can change courses. So take action on what you are learning!

Ah, I’m so surprised to hear that there are still a few of you who have never heard of Ray. Well, he’s definitely someone to pay attention to. But I get if you’re tied up with another course because I’m like that too. I don’t move on to something else until I’ve finished what I’m currently doing. Plus, I’ll only purchase a course if it’s something I feel will benefit me.
Amen to that Grady. You can purchase all the courses you want and have good intentions but without following through and taking action you might as well not wasted your time or money. Thanks for admitting you’ve fallen into that same trap. I think a lot of us have.

Happy to hear that you’ve been hearing a lot about Ray lately. He’s a powerhouse and his course is for anyone involved in internet or network marketing. He teaches how to blog the right way, how to continuously come up with content, who you should be targeting, how to get traffic, etc. It’s a killer course, I’m going through it right now.
Anyone who is serious about learning how to blog from someone who is a seven figure income earner better grab it before he raises the price which I believe is next week. Right now it’s a steal, next week it will be pretty expensive.

Ray is the only person that I’m aware of online who is not only the top income earner in his opportunity, but has the #1 blog online. Not too many people who can say that Prakash. I’m going through his course right now and although I consider my blog to not be too shabby, I still have plenty of areas I can improve. So I’ll be putting those in place in the coming months.

What type of business are you in Catherine if I might add? The best way to get yourself out there is by branding you. The way to do that is by blogging. I did start with this blog and it’s now three years old. But, it got no attention the first year and a half because I didn’t know how to really put myself out there. I share a lot of what I learned here on my blog but if you want to build a successful business and learn from someone who is already there, this course is definitely for you.
If you don’t know how to install a blog or get started, I have a free training site that will walk you through exactly what to do. I’m sure you’ll find it very helpful. The link is at the top of this blog.

You’re very welcome Catherine. You are your brand so decide which direction you want to go, what you’re going to do online and then start writing content that your target audience will want to know. Coupled with that, check out my post I wrote at the end of last year and it will tell you every thing you need to have in place in order to get started. You an use article marketing to help boost your blog up in the ranking but you need it to be a central hub so to speak. Where people can come and connect with Catherine.
