How I Finally Stopped Failing In Network Marketing

March 26, 2012 | By Adrienne Smith

How I Finally Stopped Failing In Network MarketingI sure hope that headline grabbed your attention because I have something very exciting to share with you.  I finally stopped failing in network marketing and I can’t wait to tell you how I was able to accomplish that.

I’ve share here on my blog from time to time some of the ups and downs I’ve had in this industry.  You know that’s why I am so passionate about helping others by sharing what I learn along the way.

I’m certainly not ashamed to admit my failures but it’s a whole heck of a lot more fun to share my successes.  I just chalk all of this up to a fabulous education and something I believe I had to go through in order to get me to where I am today.

I may joke about it a lot but I honestly am and I believe I’ll always be a work in progress.  We can never stop learning right!

I decided to lay it on the line and just spill my guts.  I have a feeling some of you will be able to relate to what I’m going to share but I honestly hope not too many of you.  So sit back, relax and listen to my story.  I tried not to make it too terribly long.

Home Business Radio Network
homebusinessradionetwork.com

I mentioned in the video the radio program that is playing my interview so I wanted to be sure and share that link with you guys.  I heard my interview play on Monday the 19th around 8:30 pm CST but I believe they rotate them.  I’m just not sure how often.  I wish there was a way to download it so I apologize for not having any more information then that right now.

By the way, we’re going to do two more interviews so stay tuned…

Can You Relate

So can any of you relate to what I’ve been through?  Does my story sound anything like yours?  Are you ready to give up or are you ready to finally say this is the year of my breakthroughs and I know just the people who can help.  Have you ever worked closely with a seven figure income earner who has been there to coach you?

I would love to work with you and with Terry’s support, all of us can finally break through those barriers and start building a lasting business that we can be extremely proud of.

I always appreciate your comments and I’m eager to hear your thoughts.  I believe that together there is no stopping us!

If you enjoyed this post then be sure to comment below and spread the love.

Many have similar struggles Adrienne, so happy you share. I had no clue. It is easy to see success, but can be tough to see what happens behind the scenes, because, we had no clue ;) By following a proven system patiently I turned my gifting opportunity around but it took persistence. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thank you Ryan and I thought it was important to continue to share with my readers that I have struggled. I’ve had success in some areas where others, not so much. But not giving up is the key and continuing to find the information that we need in order to get to where we want to be is so important. No one knows what goes on behind the scenes which is why I think it’s important for others to realize they aren’t alone but it is achievable.

I loved reading about where you were in your offline job and then you came online and struggled too Ryan. It took a lot of work on your part to open up to the possibilities and once you did and worked on yourself it all started falling into place. I know there is a lot more to it then just that but that’s a big part of it. I so admire that Ryan.

Thank you for your wonderful comment and I really appreciate you sharing that as well. Now, enjoy your week. I sure will. :-)

Adrienne, Adrienne, Adrienne!

You were never failing! You were just taking the necessary steps towards success. I think sometimes that journey can feel like failure, but as long as you are making progress and gaining a sense of traction, it’s just not.

So bravo! It sounds like all of your hard work is finally paying off. I’m so pleased for you, though I have never doubted that you would get to this place. I suspect that this is just the beginning – and that soon enough, you will be enjoying SO much success, you’ll look back and THIS point in your journey will seem like ‘failure’.

Hey Ruth,

I know the word “failing” can be viewed in so many ways but I know that like myself, a lot of us feel this way when every time we believe we are taking 10 steps forward we are shoved right back down. It’s so frustrating yet knowing we are where we’re suppose to be and just continuing to pray that the right opportunity or person will show up is what keeps us going.

You are right, all that hard work is finally paying off and there’s no place left but up. I knew I would finally get to this point and I’m so glad it finally showed up now instead of another few years down the road. This is definitely just the beginning, you are so right about that. I now have the right support and guidance so watch out! :-)

Thanks Ruth for your continued support. It truly means a lot.

Have a great week okay!

Great to hear your story Adrienne and it’s not too far removed from mine. I love that you mention about ensuring your actions are duplicatable and keeping it simple – it’s so important as is having a passion about your business, and of course, taking action.

I came across Terry through the blog challenge and he is a good marketer, so I wish you continued success with Numis Adrienne, you thoroughly deserve it.

I had a feeling there would be other people who could relate to my story. We have the passion for the business and want to help others succeed but there are certain steps we have to learn and when you don’t get the proper education in the beginning it sure can make things difficult which is why so many people quit. The duplication part is so crucial and it really doesn’t have to be that difficult.

Terry is a great marketer and he’s been around for a good bit. He helped me more in three days then I’ve received in three years. Imagine that!

Thanks Nicky and I wish you all the success as well.

Have a fabulous week.

I agree Ryan.. Although everyone would love to come into this industry, get the right education, training, team support and mentoring right from the start and then build a very successful business it just doesn’t always happen that way I’m afraid. We all have good intentions, we are moving in the direction we believe to be right but a good bit of us continue to hit those walls. It’s frustrating and so many people quit. I just really knew this is where I’m suppose to be and I’m so ready to have success in this particular area now.

I hope that my story can be an inspiration to others so I am living proof that if I can do this then anyone can.

Thank you Ryan and you have a wonderful day! :-)

I’m doing fabulous Sandy, thank you.. I sure hope you are as well as this Monday approaches us.

Thank you, I appreciate that and as a lot of us say we’re just failing forward right! I did know I could do this which is why I haven’t given up even through all the frustrations. Through my experiences I’m able to help others because I do believe a lot of people can relate to what I’ve been through. All I know is that it’s been worth it and I don’t regret one thing.

Thank you Sandy, that means a lot.

Enjoy your week and here’s to your success!

This is the kind of stuff that makes people have those “light-bulb” moments when it finally clicks on how they can improve something in their lives. I appreciate your honesty and humility in your message. My mother told me that if you don’t learn from your failures, you are doomed to repeat it again and again and again. I have repeated many myself.

Sometimes we have to go through it to see finally get it and for some people, they never get it until something drastic has in their lives. You give allot of bloggers a ton of inspiration and what you pass on is priceless.

Thank you for what you do for our blogging community.

You are so right Sonia, so many light bulb moments have been flashing over here at my place I’m surprised I haven’t burned my house down. ;-) But seriously, it’s been one huge learning experience for me and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Your mother is right, we need to learn from our mistakes and keep going forward instead of continuing to repeat them over and over again.

I’m so happy to be able to help other bloggers Sonia and I hope I can continue to inspire others that they can do anything they put their minds to as well.

I appreciate you Sonia. Now, enjoy your week young lady.

See you soon.

How timely is your post for a lot of people, I am sure.

I wish I had met someone like you 6 years ago when I joined my first network marketing company. Back then, a lot of people recruiting for people to joined their business had no clue on how to promote their opportunity smart way – meaning something like you are doing, Adrienne :)

All my uplines knew is how to do is promote what I call the “ugly way”, meaning that you had to be in the face of people, almost begging them to either buy your product or join your business.

When I think back of what I did, back then to sell my “diet cookies” it makes me sick to my stomach. Gosh, going to stores, and other businesses and put some testing samples there to see if anyone was going to get interested! Yuck, yuck. yuck!!! I hated it, because I do not like to “sell”.

I can’t watch the video right now, but will later and tell you what I think. Can’t wait! I’m sure it’s great :)

I know that people are taught different ways to promote their opportunities Sylviane. As I mentioned in my video with my first opportunity we didn’t have anything in place for support or training. Even if these people had built large organizations offline you would think they would have known how to do the three ways calls. I mean that’s how you close people with a professional on the line to help and support.

Sorry you had that experience as well with your first opportunity. Yeah, that would not have been fun at all girl. I hate to sell which is why I was turned off by this industry as well until I understood it much more. It’s not about that really unless you are promoting those type of products I suppose.

I know you’re at work and can’t watch the video so will look forward to hearing what you think. So you enjoy your day okay! Make it a great one!

Ah thank you Carolyn and I sure hope so. I know so many people struggle and that’s why when we hear success stories and people say well they were just lucky, they never hear the back story of how long it took them until they finally got the right mentor or the right training or whatever it was that they needed to break through their walls. The people who know they are suppose to be doing this and refuse to quit are the ones that will eventually find what they are searching for and success is just the next phase.

I have no doubt that your girls will all do very well Carolyn with you as their role model. They have your ongoing love and support to pull them through. I’m so thankful I have that as well with you. Thank you so much Carolyn and I so appreciate you!

Now, enjoy your week.

I’m loving this community and company Cat and we have some of the coolest people involved as well as some fabulous funnels. You are so right, it’s a great change for me and with each new day I’m learning new things. I just had a talk with Terry about 30 minutes ago and he’s just been so inspiring for me through this process. I stumbled, once again, but I’ll get it down. I’m one determined young lady girl. Wow! What a journey Adrienne!

You can never fail! As much as I know of you, I really don’t think those words exist in your dictonary!

Yes, just as it happens with almost everyone- they learn with time and with experience. I liked the way how you learnt from what you didn’t know or have earlier like the webinars or the offline way of working, and made that your strength, worked on it, and that is what’s brought you to this level of where you are- isn’t it!

I guess this happens with the ‘never-say-never -die’ kind of attitude to keep striving to move forward!

(Loved your happy dance!!lol…made me sway along as well!!) Sure reason enough to have such a person opt-in to your blog- must have been a wonderful feeling indeed! Just checking on the link where you are interviewed (would check it out after commenting here).

You are so right about heading over and stepping to make the move, which needs you to leave your confort level. But that’s how you progress – and for that you do need that much needed PUSH.

Thanks for sharing this inspirational and motivational video, which I am sure many are going to relate to so well. :)

It most definitely has been quite a journey Harleena…

I just used the word failed because so many of us look at it that way although to me failing is quitting. That’s not the case but you have to admit a lot of the times when we continue to hit those walls that how we feel. Whether that’s the best choice of words is another question.

Ah, you enjoyed my happy dance? Girl, I was out of my chair jumping for joy. Just the thought of that was life changing for me. It’s kind of like I’ve made it you know! I’m just so blessed that Terry saw in me what I’ve known was always there but just didn’t know how to get out. He’s really helped me in so many ways and although I STILL stumble and fall, I continue to get right back up and I do better the next time. It is a learning experience but I’m loving this journey.

Thank you so much Harleena for your supportive and lovely comment. I really do appreciate that as well as you. I’m so blessed to have you in my corner. I can’t wait to continue sharing more uplifting reports as time goes by.

Enjoy your week and thanks again.

Terri surely must have seen a great hidden potential in you, and this is something that we ourselves can’t see in ourselves. it often takes another person to recognize such things in us. And am glad he found you, and you are proving that he’s was so right! Don’t worry about the falls, those just make you stronger and wiser I feel :)

I know that I don’t see a lot of things other people see in me. I know I have a lot inside me but how to bring that to the surface has always been difficult for me I guess mainly because I didn’t have the right support and coaching. I’m so blessed Terry came along when he did so now everything is starting to fall into place for me. I don’t mind falling and getting back up because he’s showing me the way each time.

Thank you so much Harleena for your thoughtful and kind words! They mean the world to me. :-)

Hi Adrienne,

Very inspiring video! I totally resonate with you. You also hit a few points that sound so very familiar. Sponsor leaving, no team upline, no one basically to train you. A lot of networkers are facing the same struggles.

It is SO important to have a duplicatable ‘system.’ Your new ‘babies’ have to be able to see themselves doing what you are doing to build your business. And you absolutely need that support, somebody believing in you. Yes, we are a work in process. We never stop learning. Just put one foot in front of the other.

Congratulations young lady! I am so very happy for you. Keep it up!

Hi Ilka,

Ah, you’ve been there too huh! We get so excited about joining an opportunity only to realize we aren’t receiving the right support or training and then the next thing you know your upline has vanished. I certainly didn’t want to come off as playing the victim but in all honesty, a lot of us really don’t know what to do when none of that is in place. It’s scary and I so admire those who are able to steam right on through.

I always heard you had to have a duplicatable system as well Ilka but I never really “saw it” you know. There are usually so many steps people can’t see themselves doing so they get scared and quit. Terry has made it so easy, I mean really. I was blown away when he explained it to me. I thought to myself now why isn’t everyone else doing it this way. I had a talk with my old upline, the one that was above the one that quit, and she was surprised when I told her how Terry was doing this. She apologized to me and said she would be there for my team to help them so I thought if it took me leaving to get her to come around then so be it.

Thank you so much Ilka and for your continued support. I really appreciate that! :-)

Enjoy your week okay!

Yes, Adrienne, I’ve been there more times than I care to admit. It’s not necessarily that I personally needed support, I’m self-motivated and very disciplined, but of course it would have been nice if I wouldn’t have had to go it alone.

Furthermore and what is even more important, the people I would be bringing on needed the added security of an upline team that would be there to support them along with me. “Teamwork makes the dream work!”

I have been asked point blank in the past …”What team are you on?” And I have lost potential business partners because there was no team (I was it, since I just started), or I wasn’t with the right one.

Being on a team and being on the right team is very important!

Cheers,

Ilka

Wow Ilka, I hate to hear that. I wish I was he only one really. Unfortunately I know that’s not the case.

I do love to learn but I need direction and understanding of how the process works, I will admit. I am self motivated so that’s not a problem but you are right about the team environment. When you have that support, training and help, it’s really important. I hate that you’ve been the only one and that’s hurt you down the road. You sound like me and I will tell you it wasn’t fun.

Now that I’m on a super team with fabulous support and training, I feel like I’m finally home. What a rewarding feeling too. Hope that’s no longer the case with you now Ilka.

Thanks for sharing that with me. It helps to know I’ve not been on this journey alone even though we may not have known about it at the time. We certainly do now.

Hi Adrienne,
Seems like we’ve taken such a similar path these last few years.

I also failed more times than I care to admit in MLM, for many of the same reasons. One thing did happen to me that was a bit different — in my last business, I actually fell “out of love” with the product, which made is exceedingly hard to bring people in.

Whoever said that the product shouldn’t matter as long as you know how to market was either incredibly brilliant in marketing or just plain crazy. Anyway, I certainly wasn’t able to do it.

As we are now with the same company, I know we both share the passion for this unique product line and the top notch people involved.

Congrats on your decision!!

Hi Bob,

Really, similar paths? I know that a lot of us struggle in the beginning and I wish I would have had the support I needed in the beginning but then again, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Falling out of love with the product is major. I don’t think I ever fell in love with my second one, I just saw it as a good business decision although 90% of the world loves it. I just don’t happy to be one of those I’m afraid so I can relate to that.

That’s what I was telling my team Bob. I always heard it’s all about who you join and it has nothing to do with the company, the product or the compensation plan. That’s such a bull. I joined my second opportunity because of the person I wanted to work with but she was just as lost as I was. At least we were lost together and enjoyed the ride until she quit. But that doesn’t make a good fit Bob and I hate those people who say it does.

I’m so glad we’re with the same company for sure. And that’s another thing I love about it. I met a guy last week who asked to be my Facebook friend. I always check out their profile and send a message after I decide to accept their friendship or not. I asked him which company he was with because it was obvious he was in network marketing and he’s with our company too. He offered to do three way calls with me if I needed him and that he would be there for any support or help I needed. Now that’s what I’m talking about.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate your comment and I know for sure that we are definitely on our way up with this one. It’s a winning team for sure.

I liked the two syllable hell no you dropped in there. But you are right, most people are ready to get out there comfort zone; they want the safe and easy. Unfortunately sometimes the safe and easy, won’t produce the results you need to see to be satisfied with your efforts.

I think this is great news; I’ve very excited and happy for you.

I guess if you do enough vids you figure out how to get his picture in the vid, huh? Hmmmm…

Congratulations; onwards and upwards, right?

Glad you didn’t mind me dropping those Bill. I know that a lot of us are stuck in our comfort zone and don’t like venturing into the unknown. I’m like that to an extent while other times I’m eager to try anything new. I’ve just never been comfortable in an area I don’t know that much about because with my executive assistant background I always had to know it all. I’ve learned though through this process to let that all go and I’ll learn as I go. You see I’m more than willing to do the work to get me to my destination so now it’s up to me to find those who are eager to do the same.

Thank you Bill, I appreciate that. It’s been a long road..

Yeah, that was a first for me and I knew you could do it in Camtasia I just never had. It didn’t take long to figure it out thank goodness. Hope he didn’t mind. :-)

Onward and upward is right Bill. Hey, I’ll see you at the top!

Great, great, great video Adrienne! I loved it :)

I have been in network marketing for almost 3 years from April of 2006 to February of 2007 and know what you are talking about, believe me. Home meetings and all that stuff. I didn’t liked that either.

Well, I think that it takes someone like you Adrienne to make me want to come back in network marketing. I am slowly thinking about it ;) When I’m ready, I know where to find you :)

Thank you SO much Sylviane, I appreciate that!

Ah, you can so relate to what I’ve been going through. I believe in the industry but when people say that it’s not about the company, just the people you join is a bunch of bull. I believe it has to do with everything. The company, the product, the compensation plan, the support, the team and the training. Oh sure, you definitely want to work with people that you like but just knowing that when you have a problem, concern or need to do a 3 way call that your team is there for you. Terry has been a rock for me. Girl, I already have three appointments for tomorrow to do 3 ways with him. I’ve never received this type of support and help the entire time I’ve been doing this.

It’s definitely the way to go Sylviane so when you’re ready, you definitely know where I am. Oh I would LOVE to work with you. I’m trying to build a team of super women, people I would love to spend more time with. I’m already on my way and I’m really having a great time now.

Glad you enjoyed my video Sylviane and hope you’ve had a wonderful day! Rock on young lady! Here’s to a fabulous week.

Hi Adrienne,

I’m doing the happy dance with and for you because I’m happy that you’re happy! Congrats on teaming up with Terry. It’s exciting to be working closely with someone who’s had success in the same company that you’re in.

I’m sure that many Network Marketers can relate to your post. Instead of referring to your past experiences as failures, maybe you can look at them as opportunities to learn what not to do going forward. If you hadn’t gone through those experiences, you may not recognize what a great opportunity you have now with Terry and Numis.

Best of luck to you on your new endeavor!

Hey Jamella,

Ah, we can do the happy dance together Jamella. :-) I have found my home girl. Terry has been such a tremendous help and I’m learning so much from him. It’s actually fun when you are growing in the right direction you know!

I used the word failure mainly because so many people can relate. I like to think of my past as failing forward… Most people see failure as quitting and in my first opportunity I finally did. But I knew that I would eventually get there, I just had no idea how or when. So although I really don’t like to use that word either, I just felt it was appropriate for this message.

I think we all would prefer not having to take five years to finally find our saving grace but for me since I’m such a slow learner, I guess I had to go through all of that in order to realize just what I had in him as my mentor. All I can say Jamella is that I’m home. I’m where I belong finally and I have the support, training and the team environment that I have been craving since I started. I’m just so happy so I’m eager to talk to prospects now.

Thank you so much for your support young lady. You’ve been there with me so I really do appreciate it. So let’s so kick some serious butt okay! :-)

Adrienne, I am humbled and honored to work with you.

You have greatness in you.

I love playing a small part in developing leaders. You got it together.

When I first started I was bad, really bad.

Sometime I will have to share the full story when I was prospecting and read a 17 page script to a guy…boy was I clueless. LOL

I determined to succeed.

As bad as that presentation was this guy got involved. It just goes to show that you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person.

The truth is I doubt he heard much of what I said to him but I was smart enough to do a 3 way call which did the trick.

One more thing it is important.

This guy, his name is Bob went on to be the first team member of mine to earn over $1,000,000.

It is so awesome when you can help a team member to that.

YOU Adrienne are next! Who can you bring with us?

I will see you at the top.

Terry

Hey Terry!

I do have you to thank for this because what you just shared speaks to so many people. We just haven’t been shown the right direction or had the right people come into our lives to help us move forward.

I can’t believe how much I’ve accomplished in such a short time. After having struggled for years. We still get a lot of no’s but that just leads us to those people you just mentioned. You can’t say the wrong thing to the right people.

I honestly believe the 3 way calls are the way to go and you are such a pro. It’s hard to believe you were ever at the bottom and as bad as you say. I’m so happy to hear that Bob went on to achieve great things.

I want to be able to help a lot of Bob’s as well and I have no doubt that now I can achieve that.

Thank you Terry and you are right! I’m your next Bob Jr.! :-) Would love for everyone to come along with us. It’s going to be an awesome journey!

So I’ll talk to you later Terry since we have some appointments today. Oh yeah, making those appointments and talking to those prospects. I’m on a roll!

Adrienne,

I love all the companies I am with – but I don’t do home parties but there are SO MANY ways to make money online that most people don’t know about :) Beyond phone calls – but it is something I plan on making a product out of…it’s going to be hot once I get on it :)

I once had one of my businesses on a radio program – it was pretty cool – not an actual interview on the phone, but it brought in quite a bit of traffic.

Congrats on your new signups – that is awesome, Adrienne!

I appreciate sharing your story, you are doing wonderful!

Linda
P.S – Tomorrow is that call – I keep telling myself to Just do It – so I plan on sticking with it – will let you know how it goes!

Hey Linda,

I’m glad that you are happy with where you are Linda. That’s the most important thing. You are right, there are a lot of different ways to make money online. To me though, network marketing is the best way to continue making it for years to come without always having to create new products or find the next best thing.

The radio interview was really a great experience. I’m just so glad that what I share can help others move forward.

Thanks Linda, I really thrilled about what has taken place in just a few short weeks. I’m truly floored at the amount of support I’ve received and just how much a little direction can help.

You’ll do fine with that call. You are right, just do it. It will be over with before you know it and I hope everything good comes from it. Let me know.

Hi Adrienne
Great to see you video. Given we have just met it was nice to see you on video. If I had not joined the same team as you I would be calling you :-)
I agree with some of the other comments about failing here. I think we all have those stories. I always thought Ray Higdon was an instant success in this company until I heard he had 11 before it.
Robert Kiyosaki used to say (and probably still does) there are no failures just learning experiences.
I think for some reason many of us do not expect to have to learn the skills. I had enjoyed great success in conventional business and somehow thought the skills would just transfer. I have learned it is a very different game though.
Like you I am very excited to be on Terry’s team. I have known him for several years from another company and have great respect for him. I was quick to pick up on the fact his company is soon to launch in Australia.
I love the training, leadership and everything I have seen so far.
I am also glad we are on the same team Adrienne.

Hi Sue,

Live and in person Sue… I’ll do that from time to time, just share what I have to say and I just really felt the need to share this with my readers. I am so glad we met and I love that we’re on the same team but thank you for saying that. I appreciate it.

I know that a lot of people see those top income earners and think they just came on board and had instant success. They don’t realize everything that they had been doing before in order to get to where they are today. Ray’s story is proof of that. Can you imagine being a part of 11 different opportunities? I don’t know if I would have hung in there that long. Oh who am I kidding, of course I would have. lol…

I do look at everything I’ve done so far as a learning experience and I have to admit, I’ve been able to help a lot of people along the way only because I’ve shared my own experiences with them. I think that’s important to not sugar coat anything.

I’m so happy that you have known Terry and are able to share what a great leader, coach and mentor he is. I feel so honored to be on his team and I’m so thrilled you are as well. I know that we are going on to do great things with Numis.

Thank you so much for your comment Sue, it’s greatly appreciated. Now let’s get going shall we?

Adrienne, aloha. So glad that I saved this for when I had time to watch this without feeling rushed. Without a doubt, this is one of your best videos ever–and you have made some great ones!

Like so many others, I take exception with your use of the word “failing” because that clearly was not the case. While you were not succeeding financially, what you did learn is that Network Marketing is for you. Adrienne, that’s HUGE.

Just the other day I was talking with someone about a mutual acquaintance in the industry and that person said “I just don’t know if network marketing is for me.” Now that’s fine, of course, because we know it is not for everyone just like being a CPA, teacher, hotel manager, etc. is not for everyone. However, that person had been “dabbling” in network marketing for 15+ years with extremely limited success.

To know that this is in fact what you want to do, makes it so much easier to deal with frustrations and disappointments as you pursue it wholeheartedly because you know that, for you, it’s the right thing, it’s a fit.

CONGRATULATIONS on finding a mentor who is a fit with you and what you want to do, Adrienne. That will make all the difference. When belief is as high as yours is, everything comes to you.

Look forward to reading, watching and hearing of your success on this journey. My heart is full of happiness for you.

Take good care. Keep soaring. Much love and aloha. Janet

Wow, my best video ever? I shot four of them and still wasn’t sure if I was sending the right message. I mean so many people can talk about having “success” but others will just laugh it off because I’m not making seven figures yet. To me it’s success because of just how far I’ve come in that short amount of time.

I know the word failing would get some attention but I thought it was just one of those words people could relate to although like you said Janet, I’ve kept going even though I wasn’t succeeding financially. I’ve still learned a lot, I am no longer afraid to speak to people and I know success comes with time and hard work. I really have come such a long way since first starting out so I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. I honestly believe that for me I had to go through all of that to get to where I am today.

I appreciate your support Janet and I feel so blessed to have found Terry. I now know without a shadow of a doubt that I have no place left to go but up. I know that everything happens for a reason so this was meant to be.

I can’t wait to continue sharing what I’ve learned so we both said we were going to step it up this year and share more about network marketing on our blogs. So off we both go right Janet?

Thank you honey and you have a beautiful week okay! Much love to you as well.

Hi Adrienne,

Yes, getting out of ones comfort zone is not always an easy thing, guess that’s why it’s called ‘comfort’. But if the want is there for something else or more, it’s what we have to do. Make our goals our comfort zone area, so we have to work towards it rather than step out of it.

I’d never hear of Terry Petrovick, so I looked him up. Very impressive bloke and he came to You! I wish you all the best on your adventures with Terry and I look forward to following your progress.

Yeah, he came to me isn’t that something? I really am very fortunate that it happened this way. Everything is falling into place like it should now.

Hopefully with time since this radio station is new they’ll start scheduling the interviews. That would be nice because you just have to start listening to the station at the time Terry is on and hope my interview plays. Oh well, I have two more to come but thanks for giving it a shot Julie. Hey Adrienne,

Your story is very captivating and we should learn a lot from you. I have a similar experience when it comes to not building a team. I joined a company many years ago, and I had no idea what I joined. They guy had so many interesting words to say about the company, and I had nothing to lose. But the thing is, he just wanted me to join and that was it. He didn’t teach me anything, and it took me two or three months to realize that this wasn’t for me. He was just focused on making sales and adding more people to his downline, instead of teaching and believing in people.

I’m so glad that you’re having a success. And that you’re sharing everything with us. It’s very interesting that you’ve added the phone number to your subscription form. You don’t need many numbers, but the ones you get are probably very eager to get in contact with you. And like you said, one person can make a huge difference :)

Hi Jens,

Wow, I can definitely sympathize with you Jens. The people who are only in this to make the quick buck will eventually fail. If their team doesn’t continue to do the work they those commissions aren’t coming in. It’s in his best interest to help his team grow and duplicate the process. I know this happens to way too many people I’m afraid, me being one of them. So that’s why I believe it’s so important to really do your research and make sure all aspects are a good fit.

Getting people’s phone numbers adds that personal touch Jens. Of course I do get a lot of people who aren’t located in the US so I ask if we can connect via Skype. Adding that personal touch and just letting them know I am a real person who is here to help means a lot. That my friend is how relationships are formed and it will benefit us all down the road.

Thanks Jens, I appreciate you sharing that with me. There are more people like me then I care to admit.

Enjoy the rest of your week and I’ll be dropping by your place today.

Hey Adrienne,

You have become a video star! :) You did a good job!. The best part about your videos as I have said before is your so relaxed and come accross like an old friend. I can understand what you said about not being shown how to do certain things. I have gone through that with my first trainer. She loved telling me what I would not be able to fix or do. The worst possible thing you can tell me is “Don’t try” I can’t do that. So I ended up not learning more than a few things I could have used to get into better shape sooner. You end up feeling like you are playing catch up later on, when everyone else was was shown how to deal with certain things. You stand there playing catch up. Annoying!. Onward and upward! You are on your way, absolutely! I’m so glad you met that Gentleman. Wow how amazing is that! He sounds like a smart guy.
Adrienne, the only way you could or will ever fail is if you give up before you get there. You aren’t the type to give up, takes one to know one (wink) You are a fighter . You have only good things coming because you won’t accept less!.

Hi Colleen,

Thank you for sharing that and I really do appreciate it. I know that people, such as yourself, go through all sorts of things they may hold them back because we haven’t received the right training, support, mentoring, you name it in anything we want to achieve in life. But like you, I refused to give up because I knew this was what I was suppose to be doing. It’s a fabulous way for me to help so many people. Just glad it finally paid off now because it’s been a great ride in just this very short time.

Glad you stuck in there too girl. Look what all you’ve accomplished. You are the true start here.

Have a beautiful day Colleen and thanks again for your kind and supportive words. Video star, I love that! ;-)

Hi Adrienne, I certainly feel some sort of empathy with you here especially when you relate to the cost of your ‘education’, mine cost a little more than I first thought it would but we kept moving forward.

What do they say, “you never fail till you quit!’ So true!

Hi David,

I believe that for some of us David, it just takes quite a bit more effort on our part whether it wasn’t the right education, direction, opportunity, support, training, whatever the case may be. The good thing is that we kept going because we knew this is where we belong. Now I really understand what the word duplicatable is all about so having been through all of this, no one will ever be able to convince me otherwise. I’m just so happy I’ve finally found my home.

Thank you for your comment, it’s greatly appreciated.

Jessica, you did great in your last video review of Perig’s product. You seem like such a natural in just that short time you were on camera. I would love to see more videos from you.

Thanks for that though, so glad you approve. I was pretty nervous actually putting that out there but thought where the heck. It’s the darn truth girl! But it is a success story so that’s the positive thing about it right! :-)

Appreciate the support Jessica, truly! Now, get those videos going girl. We want to see more of you! :-)

Well, you know I’m not a network marketing person, but I do like how someone saw you and saw the potential and decided he wanted to work with you and that you went for it as well. Coming out of comfort zones can be difficult sometimes, that’s for sure, but progress shows you that you did the right thing. Good going!

Hey Mitch,

I know that not all my readers are in network marketing but I do believe that my story might be able to resonate with them on some level at some point. We all may need to take that leap of faith but not have the support or help that we need. To have someone come out of the shadows and see our potential is so amazing.

I appreciate your comment Mitch, thank you. Hope you’ve enjoyed your week and looking forward to the weekend.

I’ll be by your place later. See you soon.
