What Is Posting On Purpose For Profit

by Adrienne Smith on May 3, 2012

What Is Posting On Purpose For ProfitHave you ever heard the term Posting on Purpose for Profit? If not then you’re in for a real treat.

Posting on purpose for profit is a term I heard just recently!  It means exactly what it says which is posting content with the sole purpose of making a profit.

I don’t know about you, but I specifically came online to create a better life for myself.  I was sick of the 8 to 5 and making someone else rich.  Let’s be honest okay.  It is totally possible to exceed our old incomes and blow those out of the water.

Posting On Purpose For Profit

How would you like to make $100,000 or more in 12 months or less.  That’s right, you heard me correctly and this is no hype my friends.

Now you know I’m not making that, at least not yet, but I am learning from someone who is and you know that old saying.  If you wanted to $100,000 in your first year then who would you learn from? Someone who is telling you how to do this yet never has made that kind of money or someone who had accomplished exactly that?  I sure hope you said someone who has definitely achieved that goal.

Are you eager to learn from someone who knows the formula for posting on purpose for profit?  Well then pay attention to what I’m about to share with you and you’ll learn how you can do just that.

The Formula For Posting On Purpose For Profit

Our purpose for creating our businesses is to turn our prospects into customers and/or clients.  We have to start thinking like the CEO of our own company.  It starts by:

  • increasing traffic to our site
  • increasing conversions
  • increasing sales

We have to start thinking about everything that our chosen niche may possibly want or need.

Take for example the internet marketing niche.

People are going to need training programs, membership sites, software, etc. and the best thing is that if you use certain products or services then other people will need them as well.

How Can Posting On Purpose For Profit Benefit You

We have been taught that the way to get our names out there and get more people to share our content is by providing valuable and free information.

This is where building relationships comes into place and you can start by sharing other people’s content.  They will see you as someone who is generous and not just here for themselves.

You then build up a trust factor with people and they start to know, like and trust you.  Over time when you recommend a product or service that you use, they will know that you are looking out for them because it’s something you’ve benefited from yourself.

You want to be the “go to” person in your niche.  Offer them tips, tricks, inside secrets, free webinars, tutorials, bootcamps, trainings, etc.  Solve their problems by offering a solution.  Make recommendations that will benefit them.

Every piece of content you provide should move them toward taking action whether it’s to join your list, deepen your relationship or purchase something from you.

How Do You Learn Posting On Purpose For Profit

Many of us have been taught these strategies early on yet we’ve ventured away from them because of the next new shiny object that has been presented to us that we thought we needed.

Rob Fore shared with us recently on a free webinar what he’s been doing since the late 1990’s to create six different six figure incomes from his businesses.  He’s been using this exact formula from the start and is still using it today.  Guess what!  It still works and Google still loves it.

What to know why?  Because it’s content you have created using your own voice and sharing your experiences with what you know.  It’s not about promoting every single product known to mankind online.  It’s about sharing how a product has benefited you by you sharing your knowledge of what you’ve learned.  Just like I do all the time here on my blog.

Rob has gone over all his strategies step-by-step in three separate modules and shared all of the services and tools he uses as well.  He has this down like a well oiled machine and I was quite amazed at just how well this works.

If you are interested in really learning how you can also achieve a six figure income by following the steps Rob has outlined in his course then I suggest you get your hands on Posting on Purpose for Profit today.  Now remember, you have to take action because Rob is giving you his formula that will get you results.

Ready To Explode Your Business

If you’re ready to take action and explode your business then you definitely need to learn from someone who is where you want to be.  The moment I made that decision to partner with a seven figure income earner, my entire outlook changed.  How do you intend to get to where you want to be within the time frame you have mapped out for yourself!

2012 is the year of change my friends.  It’s the year of moving forward and taking our business to the next level.  It’s about sharing our knowledge with our friends and helping them do the same.  So start sharing it with your readers and your list.  Help them move in the direction they want to go.

If you enjoyed this post then be sure to comment below and spread the love. It’s always greatly appreciated you know!  And by the way, these are my affiliate links.  Just want to be honest with you.  Hey, a girl’s got to make a living right!

Hey Tonya,

Ah girl, I figured you would and he did an excellent job didn’t he! I love this course and am implementing everything that he shared although that darn pop-up is giving me problems. Urgh… Go figure… lol..

I appreciate that Tonya, that’s so nice of you to say and I’m so thrilled that you can learn from me. I do love sharing what I know works.

I appreciate you Tonya and here is to your success as well. So let’s go rock it shall we!

Thanks Adrienne for sharing this info. I will be checking out your link today. It’s hard not to “sell” when I’ve been trained to sell for years. This
will be a switch for me.

You are so very welcome Lisa and I’m very impressed with Rob’s course.

I hate to sell which is why I’m so horrible at it but I have to look at it as helping you move forward in your business. If it’s right for you right now then that’s great. If not, then that’s great too. Either way, I need to share what is working for me since that’s what I’m all about.

I think you’re really going to like this course and also be very impressed.

Thanks Lisa and you have a fabulous day! I appreciate you!

Ah, from your lips to God’s ears Paul… Now if I can get this down with what Rob has been teaching me I will most definitely be posting for profit. Oh yeah!

When am I writing a book. Good question! So, what subject would you recommend I write about? What do you want to know the most about? There’s a start..

I’m so happy to hear that you enjoy what I share Paul, that really does me proud. I love sharing what I learn and helping others so I hope that I’ll always be able to provide that for you. Thank you so much for sharing that with me. It means the world.

You enjoy your day and the rest of your week as well my friend. I promise to do the same.

Hi Adrienne,

I do believe that the old formulas will never die, what changes is the way we have to get the message out. With technology changing so much and fast, that’s what we really need to keep up with. Having to do that, those workable formulas often get lost.

I do so agree with you, to listen and learn from the person who is making $1m & more. It’s like asking advice about child birth from some who’s never given birth! They’ll tell you what’s in the book, which was probably written by a childless person, and it’s usually a load of bollocks!

And oh yes, if there’s a link in our post, there’s a purpose to it – of course :-)

8 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 8:41 AM

Hi Julie,

You are so right, the message is virtually the same but the way we deliver it is what usually changes. I know that if you are here for the right reasons and building a following the right way with no sneaky tactics, then they should continue to work for you. The delivery process changes often though so learning from those making the big bucks is what we should always do. I’m just delivering the message. :-)

I love that analogy. My Dad use to volunteer at MD Anderson because he could actually share with the patients his own experience because he had gone through it himself. The doctors can tell you what to expect but they’ve not been in their shoes. So listen to those who have been there and done that.

Thank you Julie, I appreciate that.

Enjoy your day okay!

Hi Adrienne,

As you know, I don’t try to sell through my blog, but I completely agree with you about the trust factor. You have built a stellar reputation and I would trust your advice 100% because I know you’re a straight shooter. You are talking the talk and walking the walk, Adrienne!

I’m glad you’ve aligned with someone who is of such high caliber. You deserve that because you are tops!

10 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 8:49 AM

Hi Carolyn,

I know what I share won’t be for everyone but that’s the chance I have to take at times right! I really do appreciate you sharing that though. I do hope that people will see that I’m really here to help them move forward in their business and I’m not just here for my own benefit. Oh sure, I want to make money too so I won’t lie there but I don’t want it to be at other people’s expense. I’ll only share what I know is working for me which is also why I don’t jump on the bandwagon the minute a product is released. I want to actually use it first.

Thank you Carolyn, I really appreciate you saying that. It truly means a lot.

Enjoy your day now!

11 Mayura
May 3, 2012 at 8:59 AM

Wow… Conversion of content to six figures… That would be awesome :) But I gotta try it out, right? 😉 Trust factor is vital to network and build reliable relationships. However you are good at it than us :) We all know that. Actually helping out people is what I’m enjoying and that’s what I’m trying to do with my blog, sharing what I know and what they wanna know from me. It’s a great way to see how much people love you for being honest and helping them out :) But except for intangible benefits, I see another aspect of it – income generation. But there’s always a way for anything. So I’m gonna check this out for sure. We always resistant to change. That’s natural. But without a change, no flowers will bloom on our way 😉

Thanks for sharing it Adrienne :) You’re always generous.

12 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 9:38 AM

That is incredible isn’t it Mayura! I hate the people who hype things up but I LOVE the people who walk the talk. Rob is one of them so with him sharing exactly what he’s doing to get these kind of results, even when he was a nobody, not that’s impressive.

You’re right, when you help enough people get what they want, you’ll get what you want. But you definitely have to go about this in a very honest way because that’s how you build up the trust factor. Honesty never hurt anyone my friend.

Hope you’ll give this one a shot and then just implement what he’s shared and sit back and watch. Oh yeah, I’m on my way! :-)

Thanks for sharing that Mayura and you have an awesome day!

Hi Adrienne
I have not been feeling myself this past week so have not been writing blog posts or commenting :( I am feeling better now and yours is the first post I have read!
I will head over to the site and learn more about it, we are all here to earn a living and I would like to move forward and make it happen this year.
Thanks for sharing, hope you are feeling a little better yourself.
Have a great day

May 3, 2012 at 8:28 AM

Hi Pauline,

I’m so sorry to hear that.. I’m happy to hear that you’re feeling much better. I’m also honored that my post was the first one you visited.

I was very impressed with Rob’s course and he’s been doing this since the late 90’s and it’s worked from the start so why not learn from someone who is doing it right!

I have no doubt that his course will really help you as well. We all need a little push in the right direction from time to time. Hope you find it helpful as well.

You have a great day too Pauline and I am feeling much better now myself as well. Thank you!

Tru dat; gotsta eat, right? Sounds like it is working quite well for you and you still seem quite excited about it. Good for you, and hope you have much continued success.

16 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 9:52 AM

Most definitely Bill, we all have to eat.

I use to do a lot of article marketing when I first started and it’s how I started making money with affiliate marketing. Anyone who says it doesn’t work is just crazy. So with all the tactics that Rob has combined to get your content out to the masses, well it just works. I am excited about it to get back to what I enjoy and start reaping the profits from all of that work too. Oh yeah, I’m excited. :-)

Hi Adrienne,

I’m so happy you have mentioned POPP! I have been going through this course myself and it’s wonderful! I have been blogging a lot more than usual lately and plan to be doing more of this model as well, for the same reasons you mentioned! – It just makes sense to do it!

Rob Fore is someone I have admired for a long time now. He is such a cool guy in addition to being an all around skillful marketer. I have had a chance to learn from him in Empower Network and was thrilled to see this product of his made available recently.

I agree with what Julie was saying above too. Some of the most powerful success formulas we can learn are simply timeless! All though we can never predict the future (and perhaps what the search engines may/may not accommodate for into the future), I found the POPP material to be pure value, nothing covert that the search engines SHOULD take issue with. – It’s all about how you deliver what you have got! For the small pricetag, POPP is a genuine steal!

Way to go, Adrienne! And happy Thursday!!

18 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 9:56 AM

Hey Cat,

Ah, his course is fabulous isn’t it! I was just telling Bill that I actually started doing article marketing a few years ago and that’s how I started making money in affiliate marketing. Spreading my content around to the different sites and adding value. His course just helps us take that up a notch so I know that these tactics still work. For those who take the time to do them the right way.

Glad to hear he’s been training over at Empower Network as well. I’m sure he has his hands in a little bit of everything these days. He is the master that’s for sure.

I agree Cat, I was shocked when he introduced the price to us. What! Oh yeah, I’m all over this one. Just taking what I learned a few years back and going into overdrive now. I’m loving it.

Thanks Cat and so happy to hear you have the course as well. It’s just a no brainer for me.

Have a great Thursday as well…

19 Harleena Singh
May 3, 2012 at 10:39 AM

These figures do surprise me Adrienne!

Wow! One can just about imagine about earning so much in this short a time! But I guess Rob has been a master in achieving what he talks about. More so when it comes from you, the trust factor is something most people would go for because you would talk about going in for something only after you have tried and tested it. :)

But just as Carolyn mentioned, I also don’t try to sell through my blog nor am I much into marketing or selling things – in-fact I am bad at it, but those who do would surely find this information worthwhile.

Wishing you all the success in your new venture, and I know for sure once you are fully into it, you are going to do wonders. :)

20 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 1:55 PM

Hi Harleena…

Rob has definitely mastered this and has now been achieving this for over 15 years. Having the end result be sales every time you write content then that’s what everyone should strive for. The trust factor is definitely huge because there is a lot of fluff out there and I even got caught up in it in my early days.

I know that you have your copywriting blog so aren’t you anxious to start either getting clients or promoting some type of product that would benefit other copywriters? Might be something to think about Harleena.

Thank you for your comment and for sharing your thoughts with me. I intend to do just that and then blog about it along the way! :-) Stay tuned.

21 Leo May 3, 2012 at 10:47 AM

I haven’t heard of this term either, Adrienne, but it sounds like a promising concept. Do you have a link to Rob Fore’s seminar so I can find out more about it?

22 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 1:57 PM

Rob has been applying this forumla Leo for the past 15 years and it still works like a charm.

I would love to share that link with you. At the time I did share it with my list and it was a free webinar but now it’s only available for replay for MLSP members only. Sorry!

23 Micah
May 3, 2012 at 1:32 PM

It always comes back to same basic things. Provide value and solve problems. There is a lot that goes into successful marketing, but as long as you are more focused on genuinely helping helping people than making a profit, you will make a profit.

My blog doesn’t make 6 figures either, but I do make sales both from my blog and off my e-mail list. And I don’t promote all that many products either. I have a few core offers and I stick to those like gum on a shoe, regardless of any “new shiny toy”.

You’ve shared some great advice Adrienne, and PoP looks like a great offer :)

24 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 2:01 PM

Hi Micah,

You are right Micah and if you follow that proven formula with some proven strategies then you will eventually start making a profit. It’s all about adding value and helping others period. If you can achieve that, the rest will fall into place.

I’m happy to hear that you’re doing both through your blog and your list. Yey!!

I was very impressed with Rob’s course Micha because it’s one thing to write content and spread it around. It’s another to know where to spread and what tools can help you with that process. He shared a few sites I was not aware of so I’m anxious to continue these methods and start seeing better results.

I appreciate your comment, thank you for sharing that. Hope you’re enjoying your day!

25 Sheyi May 3, 2012 at 3:07 PM

I sure want to earn $100k in a year and more than that as well.

Adrienne, you rock and thanks for sharing it. Even though i could not get the stuff you promoted, I am still charged by the heading.

26 Adrienne Smith
May 3, 2012 at 4:16 PM

Hey Sheyi,

Yeah, who wouldn’t want to right Sheyi!

So did you want to purchase the product and there was just a problem with the order or what? Since it’s digital I would think that it wouldn’t matter where you live. Either way, that heading is awesome I agree. Thanks for stopping by…

27 Sheyi May 3, 2012 at 7:01 PM

Adrienne, my country is blocked from makign money online payment that is why i find it hard to get the materials i am supposed to have.

Oh wow Sheyi, I hate to hear that. I’m so sorry..

29 Sheyi May 4, 2012 at 12:57 PM

Well you need not worry about me. Just make sure you are okay and keep doing the right thing. The just concluded started and ended right in my face, i tried using third part to get the package but i could not. Chris Guthrie’s amazon package as well….. it sucks living here

May 4, 2012 at 1:15 PM

Oh I am my friend. I just hate you missing out on so many wonderful products that can benefit you if the internet is the way you’d like to go in order to make money. That doesn’t seem quite fair really so I’m sorry about that. Seems like you’ve been trying to locate a way around that with no luck. Dang!!!

31 Bonnie Chomica May 3, 2012 at 7:29 PM

Adrienne, you’ve described the strategy very well. Rob’s course is fantastic. I’m about half way through myself. You already have a great blog and online presence. POPP should definitely put you up in the next league. Good luck!

32 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:18 AM

Hi Bonnie,

I’m so happy to hear that you’re also going through Rob’s course. I do hope that the presence that I’ve built up will be extremely helpful with moving forward with his strategies. I guess we’ll find out soon enough right!

Thank you so much and good luck to you as well.

Enjoy your day!

33 Sonia
May 3, 2012 at 9:50 PM

Sounds like a plan for me to check out. It’s amazing how the smallest changes in what we do can have such a dramatic change in our lives. You have no idea how long it took me to find what worked for me and it is still fun to discover other ways to tweak a few things to make it work for you.

At the end of the day we are just online searching for information, educating ourselves and deciding what to buy. Thanks for the tip on this and I will be looking into this more if it’s something you recommend. Thanks for always looking out for us and sharing what you know.

34 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:21 AM

Anyone online Sonia who has a blog and also wants to make some money will definitely benefit from this course. Plus, it’s under $50 so you can’t beat that price either.

What Rob shares are things he’s been doing over the course of the past 15 years that have continued to work day after day. Now we can all benefit from his experience and move forward ourselves.

You can definitely bet that I won’t be recommending anything that I don’t think is worthy of your attention. Whether it’s right for you right now or not is up to you. I just enjoy sharing who I’m learning from and how it’s benefiting me.

Thank you Sonia and I appreciate your comment. I do hope you’re enjoying your day and looking forward to the weekend. I know you aren’t going fishing! lol… 😉

35 Sonia
May 4, 2012 at 1:41 PM

I know anything you recommend deserves a second and third look. Nope, no fishing this weekend. We have our doggies this weekend and I think he doesn’t want to remember the hook in his rear. Ha Ha!

36 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 2:03 PM

Ah thanks Sonia… I know that not everything I share is for everyone but if it’s really helped me then I’ve just got to share. You never know when someone may be looking for the same answers.

I was remembering the hook incident and him saying he was never going back. It will take him awhile but having the dogs is even more fun.

37 Sue Price
May 3, 2012 at 10:19 PM

Hi Adrian
As you know I also purchased Rob Fore’s course. I love it and highly recommend it. I laughed at myself when I heard Rob teach this. When I first came online I did not know who my target market were so to post on purpose was tricky :-) No wonder there was no profit!
Listening to him now though it is a no brainer to follow his formula. I think this is a course everyone should do when they first commence blogging.
Great share.

38 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:25 AM

Hey Sue,

I’m so glad you are enjoying going through Rob’s course and I have no doubt that it will greatly benefit us both.

I know what you mean. I didn’t know who my target audience was either or how the heck to find them. Oh sure, they gave us some tips every here and there but I was still pretty confused.

I’ve been going back through the course and applying the steps one by one now. It can be time consuming but if it leads to profits then it’s well worth every single minute right!

I believe that anyone who has a blog and is here to make money should purchase Rob’s course. Of course that’s my opinion because like I mentioned in the post. Why not learn from someone who is where you want to be. I’m headed there and I know you are as well.

Thank you Sue and you enjoy your weekend!

39 Sunil Prajapat
May 4, 2012 at 6:27 AM

hey Adrienne i really liked your formula that shows.. increasing traffic to our site, increasing conversions, increasing sales… i think these three are the key ingridients to make more profit out of anything.

40 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:26 AM

Hi Sunil,

That formula is definitely key my friend so with what Rob shares, he takes you step by step through how to accomplish just that. I’m on my way…

Enjoy your weekend Sunil and thanks for stopping by!

41 Nicky
May 4, 2012 at 8:24 AM

Hi Adrienne
This is a great post about Rob’s course – I also bought it too and love the matter of fact way that he explains everything – he has such a calm and reassuring voice too!

It will be interesting to see how much the latest Google Penguin/Panda change will make on some of the tools that are being used in the article marketing circuit. I have used some of them and did notice a slight dip in traffic this week although my articles are still ranking. One thing for sure that he mentions in his training is that content is king and so long as you are churning out fantastic content that your reader is looking for, then you will be the winner overall!

Thanks for sharing your insights into this course.

42 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM

Hi Nicky,

Thank you and I agree. Rob just takes us through everything step-by-step in such a matter of fact way. I find it very soothing myself.

I read a post yesterday that specifically said to not use one of the tools he recommended. Of course he shot these videos in February before this recent release but I already knew I wasn’t going to use that specific program. I agree with you and with Rob that as long as you are providing valuable content with your own voice, I think everyone will be just fine and Google actually loves that.

Congratulations for getting one of your posts on the first page of Google too through the tips that he shared. You are doing it girl.

Thanks for sharing that Nicky!

Hi Adrienne,

I watched Rob Fore’s webinar on Posting on Purpose for Profit and was quite impressed. It just makes sense, right? I created my first POPP piece of content not too long ago, and followed all of Rob’s steps. On to the next one!

44 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:38 AM

Hi Jamella,

Well good for you Jamella, I’m so happy to hear that. I have no doubt with following all of Rob’s steps that we’ll all be posing on purpose for profit very soon. I’m so excited for the both of us. Let me know how that goes okay!

Enjoy your weekend.

45 Barry Wells
May 4, 2012 at 10:05 AM

Hi Adrienne,

Well Thursday turned into Friday but i’ve got my head up now after removing most of the broken links from my blog (RE Monday’s post here) 😉

Rob’s course sounds like it’s right up my street as that is the exact approach I try to take. Learn IT, Apply IT and Pass IT on although I’m not making much money at it YET 😉

I actually bought a product yesterday that I am intending to put through its paces and pass onto my subscribers and readers. Fingers crossed it lives up to everything I’ve seen about it :)

You’re so right about if you want to learn something properly to learn from those that have done it so I will be heading over and checking it out as soon as I’ve caught up with some commenting.

Thanks Adrienne, I hope you’re well :)

Respect and Regards,

46 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 10:42 AM

Hi Barry,

I’m so glad you’ve come up for air now Barry. That can be time consuming when we let that go can’t it! It took me all day to go get rid of mine so I know what you mean.

I believe that Rob’s course will benefit anyone who has a blog and wants to make money. He just shows you how to do it the right way and with proven methods that have been working for him for years. I’m all over it my friend.

I like hearing about products from friends of mine that have tried it out and are actually using it you know. I think those are the best kind so I’ll be anxious to hear what you think of that one.

Thanks Barry and let me know what you think if you do check it out. I’ll definitely be curious to know.

I appreciate you stopping by and you enjoy your day and weekend okay!

Best to you,

47 Carol Lynn
May 4, 2012 at 11:33 AM

I absolutely agree with the point you made that if you want to learn and succeed, you’ve got to find the people who can help you do it. I see a lot of people “thinking down”. They are too afraid of reaching out to the important/successful/powerful/smart people because they’re afraid they won’t measure up.

When I first started out I had a colleague (who has since become a close friend) who said he always wanted to be the dumbest person in the room. It’s a weird thing to say but think about it – if you are with people smarter than you, you can LEARN.

Surround yourself with people who are what you want to be and who can lift you up.

48 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 11:40 AM

I was once guilty of that Carol. I thought in my own mind they weren’t approachable or that they would actually speak to me on my level. Knowing full well you’re going to have to pay them for their time if you chose to work with them but just to even pick up the phone and talk was my issue. Now that they are creating course to show us how they have succeeded, that’s the direction we all need to head.

Sounds to me that your colleague was not really the dumbest person in the room. He was smart knowing that he was learning from everyone else. I love that!

Amen to that Carol, amen to that.

2012 is the year of change. And what you’re saying is very important. We need mentors, and it should be people who are successful doing what we want to be doing. I bought Steve Scott’s affiliate marketing course in order to learn from the best, and I’ve learned a lot. But I am still far away from being successful online, but I’m taking one step at the time. I’ll take a closer look at posting on purpose for profit.

Have a wonderful weekend :)

May 4, 2012 at 12:30 PM

I firmly believe Jens that 2012 is the year for change and we have to be willing to do what’s necessary in order to achieve the success we want.

Steve is a fabulous example of someone who is where we want to be. I’m sure his course is excellent, I’ve recommended it to many because of the kind of guy he is and what he shares with us.

I have no doubt that what you are involved in with getting content out there for your clients that this course will greatly benefit you Jens. It will also benefit you for promoting affiliate products as well.

Thanks for sharing that and I wish you continued success. It’s on it’s way Jens, it just takes time.

Enjoy your weekend as well. :-)

Hi Adrienne – Who doesnt want to earn money fast and get their business flourishing with over-night success???
I have enrolled for many affiliate programs but never really promoted much not have I earned any considerable revenue from them. Posting on purpose sounds interesting, I think I will take a look. thanks for sharing.

52 Adrienne Smith
May 4, 2012 at 4:25 PM

There is no such thing as overnight success Praveen. We all wish there were but everything takes time. Once you start implementing what Rob is teaching us then slowly but surely things will pick up so that everything you’re promoting will start to generate income. And that’s what we all want to achieve.

Take a look at it and see what you think. If you have any questions, you know how to find me. 😉

Have a great weekend Praveen.

Great, great post, Adrienne,

What best to hang out with people who are actually making the kind of money we want to be making. It may be harsh to say and maybe even cliche by now, but if we keep hanging out with broke people we’ll always be broke.

For sure, the best way to gain the trust of people to whom we can over time promote products that we have used ourselves is the best way to post for profit and there definitely nothing wrong with that.

Thank you for this info, Adrienne, really enjoyed it!

54 Adrienne Smith
May 5, 2012 at 12:11 PM

Ah thanks Sylviane!

I’ve been listening to these great audios lately and he has also made some really great observations about who we learn from. For instance let’s say we want to learn how to make money online and although we’ve all met some great people and we think very highly of them, if they aren’t making the kind of money we want to then we need to be learning from those who are. It’s nothing personal at all and I certainly don’t take it personally. But when it comes to buckling down and digging in, we should all be learning from those who are where we want to be.

Thanks Sylviane, I appreciate your comment and glad you enjoyed this post. It’s definitely benefited me.

Hi Adrienne,

Its been a while since I have been blogging. Its good to be here back visiting your blog. I like what you said about recommending products you have tried and telling others you established a reputation with, makes a whole lot of sense.

It increases chances on making a sale than just selling to anyone. Also too many marketers sell products they absolutely know nothing about.

I Also like what you said- learning and getting ideas off someone who is already where you want to be. I will be checking out posting on purpose for profit, sounds interesting. Thanks Adrienne,

Terry Conti

Hi Terry,

Happy to have you back Terry, always a pleasure to see you.

I’m not one of those that will just jump on the bandwagon and promote every product under the sun. I want to use it and start seeing some results from it before I start recommending it myself Terry. I think in the long run that will help with your reputation of someone who is truly out to help others with their online endeavors.

Now what I suggest may not be for everyone at this time but if it’s something you feel can help you then I do hope you’ll check it out. If not then that’s perfectly okay too.

Thanks Terry and so glad to see you again. I hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

I would imagine that “Posting on Purpose for Profit” itself is reliant on traffic. I see a ton of great ideas that require a ton of traffic. Hey, every little bit helps!

58 Adrienne Smith
May 5, 2012 at 1:33 PM

It most definitely does and when you post of purpose for profit, it shows you exactly how to get that traffic. Oh yeah, everything just falls into place.

Hi Adrienne, I can tell that you have a lot of trust in Rob and I’m sure he has done what it takes to build that trust from you. You are reaching out and connecting to your readers the same way and you’ve been doing it for years now so you know your stuff! Thanks for introducing this system and I hope loads of people take advantage of it. Here’s wishing you much success with this and I have ever confidence that you will excell!

Hi Ileane,

Absolutely Ileane and I definitely enjoy learning from someone who is already there. I only hope to have just half the success he has and if I can do that by reaching out to my readers then I’m thankful that I can help them move forward with learning what they need in order to take their business to the next level.

Thank you for your oh so kind words. They are truly appreciated.

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend Ileane and we’ll be connecting this week for sure.

Take care,

Hi Adrienne, at first glance the term “Posting on Purpose for Profit” sounds like paid posts (advertising) of product reviews. I was glad to see it’s much more than that and that you mentioned Rob Fore. Nice explanation and I’ll check the link out right now.

May 6, 2012 at 3:48 PM

Hi Brian,

Welcome to my blog, it’s nice to have you stop by.

People can definitely come up with their own definition, I agree. I wasn’t quite sure myself when I first heard it. But since it’s attached to Rob sharing with us how to move forward in our business well I just had to jump all over that. Hope you enjoy what Rob has shared Brian.

Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks again.

Gpod tips and great referral to posting on purpose for profit. I love the concept, which really boils down to posting with a purpose in kind to building community and traffic to one’s blog which in turn converts to profit.

Adrienne, aloha. Thanks so much for the link. As soon as I hit publish on this comment, I am going to check it out.

In my opinion, a person should keep learning and looking at information to see what may be a fit. If we don’t look, how will we ever know? If we don’t look, how will we ever learn and grow?

As you know I am a voracious reader. While all the books I read may not be gems, in each book there is at least one bit of information that is useful. Also, as I read I think “do I agree with this or not? If not, why not?” For me is both clarifying and reinforcing.

Hope you are enjoy8ing a wonderful weekend. Best wishes for fun and profits in the coming week. Until next time, aloha. Janet

Hi Janet,

Well I hope you find this one as rewarding as I have. You know me, I’m stepping it up a notch this year and I’m well on my way.

I enjoy reading too and I usually always learn something from whatever I’ve been reading. I think you’re probably more notorious for wanting to ask more questions and figure more things out. But like you, I don’t always agree with what I read but I do love to learn.

I am enjoying my weekend, getting caught up on some things and ready for the week ahead. Hope you’re doing the same.

71 Sire
May 7, 2012 at 2:27 AM

Nope, I’ve never heard of it but it is something that I do on a regular basis. 😉

You know, when I first got into bogging it had nothing to do with making money. Even now I do it more for the love of it than because of the money making potential. Having said that though, I have to admit that the businessman in me gets a certain amount of enjoyment when I write a post whose sole purpose is to make a few bucks and sitting back to see whether or not it works.

Over the years though I have learned a few things about making sales, the most important of those being recommending a product that you use and enjoy and the other being that the number of sales is directly linked to the cost of the product.

72 Adrienne Smith
May 7, 2012 at 8:14 AM

You are very good at posting on purpose for profit Sire and I need to start leaning a little more toward that. At least every once in a while.

I agree with you on that note. I enjoy helping people learn but at least when I’m sharing with my readers my opinion on a specific product I would like to see how much attention I can bring to that post and hopefully those who are reading it and are interested in what I’m sharing will pull out their wallets and throw a little my way. But, my sole purpose I must admit is helping people learn.

Thanks for sharing that with me Sire and I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I have a feeling it’s going to be an excellent week. Have a good one.

It was a pretty good weekend thanks Adrienne. Worked Saturday but went to see my sister in law who returned from hospital. She was pretty week but in high spirits.

Sunday I knocked of a couple of posts, fitted four shelves in the daughters bedroom, she was pretty excited about that, and then made some pizza dough which the wife then turned into 3 lovely pizzas. Yum :)

Hope you have that great week you’re looking forward to.

Hey Sire,

I’m so happy to hear that your sister-in-law is out of the hospital now Sire. I know she has a long road ahead of her but I do hope she keeps the faith.

Wow, you got a lot accomplished on just Sunday. I bet your daughter was very pleased Dad… And those pizza’s sound wonderful. Homemade, yummy. I haven’t had homemade pizza in years. I love pizza.

I will most definitely have a great week and I hope you do the same. Tell your sister-in-law that she’s in my prayers. I’m rooting for her.

Thanks for the information. I will be signing up to see what’s in there( which I assume will be awesome :) ) .
Its almost 2 years since I started blogging and I have been able to make a lot of friends who are also my well wishers now :). It is very important to keep the community going and working towards relationship building.

Hi Ashvini,

Thanks Ashvini and if you decide to purchase the course, let me know what you think. I’ve even got a few tips to share now that I’ve dove into it myself.

Building relationships is the most important element of blogging I believe and that will lead to the business side of it I know. I would definitely prefer purchasing something from someone I know then someone I don’t. Plus, if they are using the product and having good results then that speaks volumes to me.

Thanks Ashvini for your input and I do hope you have a fabulous week.

Hey Adrienne,

It’s cool you have a solid direction on where you want to go with your business. This is crucial for long term success. I see so many people, just blogging for no reason or no long term plan.

I personally had my first 100k year 2 years ago, but it wasn’t from blogging or anywhere related to my blog even using it as leverage. I made it through product creation, affiliate marketing and services.

“I did not make 100k this year. This was due to lack of products and more research”

Personally I have been blogging a lot this year and seen some great results from it. My main aim is to provide value to the reader and trust within my subscriber base. I can’t stand affiliate marketers who simply mail out for product without any interaction.

What I do know is when I launch my product on June 7th (plug) I will make a lot more sales from the trust have from my subscribers.

So do I post on purpose for profit? Not directly, but long term trust and relationship building from my informative posts does lead to increased sales of products and services and affiliate promotions of the products I believe in.

In my opinion, you can make money from blogging alone. But if you really want to ramp it up to that 100k you need alternatives in place i.e. your own products.

This comment is purely based on what I know and what I have learned over the years in IM. It may not be the opinions of others , but hey it works for me.

Thanks Adrienne.

78 Adrienne Smith
May 7, 2012 at 8:25 AM

Hey Dan,

I wasn’t always that way Dan so I think some of us start with some sort of direction but then for me at least, it all changed. But I definitely have a clear path now.

Product creation, affiliate marketing and services is definitely a great way to go but as you just admitted, if you don’t stay up on top of things and keep cranking out the products and what you’re promoting, that can all change. That’s one of the reasons I didn’t particularly want to go in that direction because I don’t want to always have to come up with a new product. So did you do a lot of joint ventures since you didn’t have a blog where people could learn more about you? I would be curious how you accomplished that Dan.

I agree with you on the blogging platform. To me it’s about building relationships and interacting with your list. Don’t just shoot email after email with product promotions. The moment I see someone doing that time and time again then I’m off that list. I don’t mind them sharing something every once in a while but I don’t want that to be the only thing they do.

Ah, you have a new product coming out in June. Congratulations Dan.. Can’t wait to hear all about it.

Your blog isn’t the only place you should be posting on purpose for profit you know. As long as you’re sharing with your readers the value they can get from whatever it is you’re sharing, then if you make a sale from promoting a product great. If not then at least they’ve learned something right. That’s why we’re here, to help other people learn and grow.

I totally agree with you Dan which is why I do network marketing. I’d rather build my residual income that way instead of always having to find the next best product to promote or create my own.

I appreciate you sharing your expertise with us Dan because you are someone who has been there and done that. Those are the people we need to continue learning from and you my friend are one of them.

Have a fabulous week Dan and thanks again.

Hey Adrienne,

In answer to your question, I did have a couple of products which I had created prior to my blog. I did have a mailing list from these products which I used to promote other products for other people. I come from an eBay marketing and eBook background so I have always had an interested list of subscribers when it comes to making money online.

Also the added advantage of being a business partner with Dave Nicholson and John Thornhill is always a bonus. I have products with both of these guys, so when it comes to gathering JV’s for promotions it’s a lot easier.

Hope this helps Adrienne.

80 Adrienne Smith
May 8, 2012 at 4:44 PM

Thanks Dan for sharing that with me.

I know that when you already have a name in some area then you have one foot in the door ahead of others. Also if you do a lot of paid advertising and bringing people to the product they are searching for is always a plus. You build that relationship with you list then so promoting other products to them is how that’s done as well.

I knew you had done a product with John but wasn’t aware of Dave. I know you had a membership site, you were doing that when we first bumped into each other.

I appreciate you getting back with me. It’s always good to know for people who don’t have a blog or aren’t really interested in maintaining one. I recommend it but not everyone wants to go that route.

82 Adrienne Smith

Content will never die Laura but the way you present the content changes as well as the tools and some services that you use. Those things are what changes but not the strategy in general…

AMEN to everything that you said! It’s so helpful to have someone, several steps ahead in the game, mentoring your progress – that is wonderful Adrienne! I think that the formula is pretty basic for business in general – content should be meaningful, actionable, consumable, dynamic and accessible if it is going to drive business results.

84 Adrienne Smith
May 7, 2012 at 8:28 AM

Ah thank you Ruth and this is coming from the expert copywriter. Yey!!!

This formula has been around forever and I believe it’s just the way the search engines pick things up now is the only tweaking we may have to do. Oh and the tools you use to blast your content all over the place. Those are the things we should be on the lookout for.

Thanks Ruth, always a pleasure to see you. I know things are going well for you so have a fabulous week.

Hi Linda,

That’s good news…

It is working for me and although it does take some time to get your content out there, I’m definitely showing up in the search engines so I have no doubt the rest will be coming into play now. I’ve got some other tips too since going through this course and talking to a few other people who have also been applying what Rob is teaching. You just have to get your content out to enough sites and he’s definitely shared with us some I never even thought about. That’s what I love about learning from people who are having such great results.

Enjoy Linda and you have a great day as well!

May 8, 2012 at 2:51 PM

Adrienne! I love this, and I love that you’re sharing stuff that benefitted you, and I love that you’re making dollars off it :)

I’m very big on people profitting from their ideas and actions here on earth, and I love seeing more people doing this.

I’d not heard of Rob Fore before (lol), but I love the POP concept, and have done it myself in my own way.

Have you ever heard the quote: “Your work is first to discover your work, then do it.”

Most people don’t make money because they want to skip to the 2nd part, but the discovery part is key.

What I’m saying is, it was a bit tricky for me to POP until I dealt with other personal issues first, like discovering what I was truly passionate about. If you’re passionate about reviewing products, MLM, etc. I’d say you’ll do well, sustainably so. If you’re not, I’d say you’re in for a struggle, but in the process you’ll get closer to discovering what you really care about.

Passion is the back-bone of our economy, whether people want to admit it or not.

For example, I’ve written more than 1 ebook (4.5 big ones, to be exact), and only now, with my 4th one (, am I generating substantial, fulfilling sales.

90 Adrienne Smith
May 8, 2012 at 4:40 PM

Hey Jason,

Glad to hear that and I definitely want to help others from what I’ve learned as well.

Rob has been around for over 15 years so he definitely knows his stuff.

When I first started making money in affiliate marketing I was doing POP as well. Not to the extent that Rob shares and it works beautifully. I think where people so wrong is wanting it all now and using methods that will eventually be frowned upon in the eyes of the search engines. That’s what’s happening to a lot of people now.

I’m glad that you had to dig a little deeper before realizing you had a few personal issues to deal with first. I love helping people, period. I don’t care which direction they are headed although I would prefer they were headed in my direction. 😉 I don’t know if I would say I’m passionate about it. It’s just something I’ve always enjoyed doing so it’s just the norm for me I suppose.

Happy to hear you are having success with your eBook but you knew you eventually would. You go get em Jason!

I do post for purpose, but I don’t post on purpose for profit (I haven’t figured out a way yet to make money that doesn’t involve any legal issue – I am on H4 visa, so I can’t work in US, at least not now). But, I do plan to do it for profit in the future. Right now, I am more focused in driving traffic, building my list and establishing myself.

Now, as a blogger, I think the best way to post for purpose on profit is to identify our main goals with our site/service (and also include providing value one among those goals) and work (experiment, analyze, find the best method).

I do appreciate the post, Adrienne. It reminds me of what I am supposed to achieve in the future – my dream/goal, which is to make some money out of blogging and invest that in a business (I do have bunch of ideas, but they all involve a programmer/engineer or some other guy in it).

92 Adrienne Smith
May 9, 2012 at 2:30 PM

Ah, someone else who has legal issues that are holding them back from actually making money online. Man, I do hate to hear that Jeevan but at least you’re gaining the experience needed so that when that time comes you’ll be ready. I appreciate you sharing that with me.

One thing I see a lot of beginners doing wrong is that they are blogging about a wide topic of things. They need to define their niche and stay within that niche or people will get tired of what they share. They come to your blog to learn one things and are hit with something that has nothing to do with it. People lose interest fast.

I appreciate that Jeevan and for sharing that with me. I have no doubt you’ll reach your goals when the time is right. Oh yeah! You’re that kind of guy.

93 Jeevanjacobjohn
May 10, 2012 at 5:51 PM

I am hoping for the same thing, Adrienne.

You are right about that. When I started blogging, I was focused on technology. But, soon I changed to the blogging niche (though I still wrote tech related posts). After a while, I stopped blogging about technology (I did lose many of my teach readers).

I hope so :) Thanks for the encouragement, Adrienne!

94 Adrienne Smith
May 10, 2012 at 7:31 PM

I think that a lot of us get into this and then end up changing our direction. I think once you get into blogging, things change. At least for a lot of us they do. As long as you’re happy, that’s all that really matters you know!

Keep up the great work. Everything will work out the way it’s suppose to.

95 Lenia
May 10, 2012 at 2:27 PM

Hi Adrienne,
I don’t know Rob but I will check out the video and the page. The truth is that there are so many people that sell something in the internet that as a newbie I don’t know why and who I have to listen to. If I understand well, you have already followed that course ?
I am just wondering if at the end of the course I will have to buy more products in order to do the business.
I read and follow many blogs about this field and I see that many bloggers present tools, courses and lessons (not the same). I want to figure out a budget about how much all that can cost because it it not only the lesson, there are also the tools that we have to buy, isn’t it?
To be honest, i am very confused because many people present courses and tools, promote them and that scares me.
Thank you for this post.

96 Adrienne Smith
May 10, 2012 at 2:40 PM

Hi Lenia,

Rob is someone who has been around the network marketing industry for a very long time as well as internet and affiliate marketing. He’s had huge success with these methods. Most courses will definitely try to upsell you on other things they offer but that’s totally up to you. Myself, I’m more focused on one thing at a time so I ignore those. There are some tools you’ll need in order to help but they aren’t necessary. They will just make your life easier so again, that would be up to you.

What you need to do is figure out what method you enjoy doing and then dive into that training and start taking action. Stick with it until you start seeing results. Although this course is very good and I am applying what Rob is teaching, it’s not for everyone. I just enjoy sharing things that I am using and seeing results but this is an area that I enjoy. It might not be for you so you’ll have to make that decision yourself.

Don’t let that scare you because there are a lot of people promoting products online. There are so many different ways you can market so again, you chose the method you want to do and then learn that one.

If you need some help with that just email me and I’ll help you if you’d like. We can figure out what your strengths are and what direction you’d like to go. Sound good? Go to my contact me page and shoot me an email if you’d like some assistance. Be more than happy to help.

97 Lenia
May 15, 2012 at 2:41 PM

Once again your answer is very clear and honest.
That is perfect. Thank you so much. I appreciate that.

I understand your point about the tools. Off course I would like to buy something that could automate some tasks but I need to evaluate the cost first.

I would be glad to talk to you in order to figure out my strengths, clarify the options I have, and get your advice. I will send you an email to organize that when you are available. Once again, many thanks to you because you help me a lot.

Hi Adrienne, I love blogging and am really bad at monetising! You are right, I too joined the internet world in order to have a better life, but I always give away for free and forget to promote the paid stuff! I do enjoy creating products too, I write a lot and always create my own unique items for giveaways, unlike most! It has built me a sizeable list, but I don’t really market to them, which I know I should. So 2012 is my year to move towards selling to my readers and I am going to make myself do that.

Enjoy the journey.

You sound a lot like me Mandy but this year I told myself I was moving forward with my business too. Giving away free stuff is fabulous and the best way to build up that trust factor but there are always extra steps that people need to take in order to get to that next level. By promoting products that will help them move in that direction is what we all should be doing. You don’t have to be annoying about it to have success. That’s what this course has taught me, to continue just being me yet promoting as well.

Happy to hear you’re doing the same. So here is wishing you the best of luck!

great info Adrienne, we all dream of making that kind of income but often due to lack of information and proper mentoring, cannot achieve that. Your posts provided a lot of information on that, heading towards the link you provided, thanks for that.

Hi Akhilendra,

Thank you, glad you found it helpful and Rob’s product is really a good one. He goes through step-by-step what we all should be doing and over time you’ll start to see a vast improvement on visits and sales.

Thank you for checking this out and I appreciate your comment.
