I know we have new ones cropping up all the time but as you’ll notice with free ones, the developers drop off the face of the earth eventually and abandon their projects.
Just like what happened to the ReplyMe plug-in that I wrote about last year. Although at the time it was still working beautifully, the developer had abandoned that one too which meant that eventually it wouldn’t be compatible and then we would start running into problems.
Social Sharing Buttons
Now if you’ll look at my social sharing buttons at the bottom of my post they look like the same ones I’ve always had right!
Well they do look the same because I happen to like these buttons. For the longest time I used Digg Digg for my social sharing buttons but every once in awhile they just would quit working. Especially the Pinterest one so I removed that one altogether.
I told you guys he was one smart cookie… This is actually his second plug-in with the first one being similar to CommentLuv.
This all really started when Carolyn Mohr and I had a discussion that we would like to be able to choose which social icons we want, what they look like and in what order they are placed on our posts.
Of course our first thought was to ask Ashvini if he could create something so bless his heart, he went to work.
Like most things you create it had some kinks and I had the hardest time getting the ones I wanted to appear. But he kept at it and now it’s a fabulous creation.
If you hover over my picture here in my post you’ll notice that the icon appears so you can “Pin it” to Pinterest if you want. Isn’t that cool? No extra paid plug-in to get, yep he included that as well.
Paid Verses Free
Now Share Juice Pro is a paid plug-in but here is why I recommend it.
You have the support if something goes wrong. With a free one you’re stuck the majority of the time because when I go to WordPress and ask for help I seldom get anyone to reply to me. I hate that!
When you purchase a plug-in you have that support just like when I had those issues with CommentLuv Premium recently. I notified Andy, we went back and forth with questions, he repaired the problem and updated the plug-in. Now that my friends is service.
So although Ashvini has released this one as a paid plug-in, it’s only $10. Yep, you heard me right.
He’s so awesome isn’t he!
Oh but wait, there’s more.
He’s giving you a 30 day trial to see what you think before you buy so who doesn’t want to try it for 30 days to see for themselves. If you like it you pay, if you don’t you don’t.
Darn good deal my friends.
So if you guys just happen to be in search of a social sharing plug-in that you can set up how you want, in what order you want and even create your own then I suggest you check this one out.
I know a lot of you prefer the floating sidebar but don’t worry, it has that option too. I just don’t like those myself.
Oh and one more thing. This is not an affiliate link, all proceeds go to Ashvini.
Do You Have A Favorite
So which social sharing plug-in are you using? Have you had any problems with it? Is it doing everything you want? Are you interested in checking Share Juice Pro out? I mean you will have that support and I think most of us buy for that reason alone.
I only have a few paid plug-ins but the ones I purchased have definitely been worth every penny. Even few I got to take for a test drive.
Love to hear your thoughts in the comments below and would really appreciate you sharing this post with your friends. You never know when someone was having those same thoughts that Carolyn and I did last year. Isn’t it great to have a friend that can put your words into action!
